    Default Indoor Grills

Do any of you use an indoor grill. I have a George Foreman and Cuisinart Griddler. They are great for making sandwiches, steaks, chops, and hamburgers.

Default I have a George Foreman grill

I have a George Foreman grill - the smallest one. The grill pan cannot be dismantled, so I am not sure how I should be cleaning it if I grill stuff like chicken or fish.

    Any advice?

I have 2 George Forman grills - and as far as cleaning - hot soapy dish cloth and the food particles come right off - rinse several times with a clean and non-soapy dish cloth. For tough baked on particles I use a few paper towels (wet them well) and place them on the grill and close for a few minutes - cleans right up.

I also have a couple different electric grills for grilling indoors - clean as you would a regular grill rack.

I have an electric one; I forget the brand. It's basically a heavy ceramic bown with an element in it and a grill rack over it. I use it fairly often; it's great for grilling small amounts for just 2 people and for when the weather is bad and you can't grill outside.

I grilled chicken wings once (using my small George Foreman grill) and my whole living / dining room smelled of chicken the whole night LOL!

I think I'll stick with grilling fish, vegetables and bread instead.

Hi Mama Mangia, thanks for the cleaning tips.

I have a family-size George Foreman grill. I use it all the time. Especially since I don't have an outside grill.

I do have to say that I don't recommend the use of these grills for very greasy food. Once I tried to grill some cheap hamburgers on it and the smoke was EVERYWHERE!

Of course it was my husbands birthday and we had invited the parents and in laws over so both moms got to see my disaster. Fun times.

I wasnt aware you could grill bread in them...or at least never thought about it...do you use it for paninis?

I use mine for panini, grilled cheese, etc. I have even warmed up pizzas slices on it!
