I have a small rotisserie grill made by Sunbeam that works rather well. It can accommodate a small whole chicken. It also comes with a set of shish kabob sticks for doing shish kabobs. The chicken is cooked by placing it on a rod in a basket standing up, which I understand to be the preferred way to cook a chicken because the grease drips to the bottom tray. You just put the chicken in and set the appropriate cooking time and leave it alone while it cooks. The Sunbeam also came with it's own cookbook.

I have the Ronco, and I couldn't live without it. I use it for nearly everything. Mine came with 2 different sized baskets for doing pieces of meat, or like chicken wings... hot dogs, brats, steak, ect.
you can also use an oven safe dish on the top of machine, to steam veggies, or heat up a precooked side dish. YUM |

I own the George Jr. Rotisserie.
It makes beautifully golden brown chicken! That's mainly what I like to cook in it. The skin is cripy browm, golden and dry. The meat is moist temder and juicy inside. You can't go wrong with this one! |
