    Anyone have one? If so what's your opinion on it, I'm considering one

    I assume you are talking about an electric rice cooker. I have one and use it regularly, but it probably isn't necessary (as a separate appliance) if you don't cook that much rice.

    I used a microwave rice cooker for many years, plus a steamer that does rice, and of course I've done it in a regular pan. I like the electric rice cooker since I can put the rice and water in and forget about it until its done. Its a convenience.

    Yeah I made a rice dish last night, and my pet peeve is just hovering over it the whole time till it's done

    Save your money - use a good saucepan and cover - which you will be able to use for so many other things.

    Yep, I own one.

    The Zojirushi NS-KCC05. It's a small electric rice cooker that cooks up to 3 cups of fluffy rice.

    It's perfect for single people who live alone, and it can accommodate up to 6 people
    at about a 1/2 cup each. Great little rice cooker! I call it my Little Buddy!!
