Default Yogurt Maker?

Anyone have one? How does it work? Do you like it?

My MIL has one, and she likes it. I don't think it does a better job than making it yourself w/o the maker, but it may be slightly easier. It's very simple to do w/o the machine, but the machine makes it idiot proof. I wouldn't spend a fortune on it, but if you find one for cheap and eat a lot of yogurt, it's nice to have. Especially for kids, because you can make whole milk plain yogurt, which is difficult to find, and then add your own fruit or sweetener.

I have a rich uncle (everyone has a rich uncle) who has one, but I've never seen it used or have used it, as I don't like yogurt that much.
