I don't have a dishwasher anymore.... I found that the only thing mine was good for was a nice bruise when I forgot the door was down and I ran into it.

And... I'm waiting on a man to come in and comment "yeah that's why I married my wife" Sorry to spoil your fun. Hahaa Nenner Nenner

I have Whirlpool dishwaser and it works great. I dont have to rinse my dishes before I put them in and they always come clean. It has a sanitary option on it also. It saves me so much time in the kitchen and I dont think I could live without one.

I am spoiled; I couldn't do without a dishwasher. I run it at least once a day (and it's full, so it's not that I'm wasting energy or water).

I don't have a dishwasher at the moment. But I will have one as soon as I move. My mom always had one. My dad got her a Whirlpool dishwasher. It worked just fine. The dishes never smelled funny & they were always clean. My dad still uses a dishwasher & it works just fine. They work best if you rinse the hard stuff off the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.

I have an old (very old) fashioned dishwasher and it's not even electric. It's called "lefty and righty" and together they scrub the tiniest bits and pieces off everything. They also do a really great job cleaning, cooking, baking, gardening, ironing, washing clothes, doing windows, wiping noses, changing diapers, etc.

My dishwashers are also attached to each of my arms.

I'm dying for a new dishwasher. Ours is on its last legs; it doesn't seem to want to close unless you hold it just right, and sometimes it doesn't want to turn on unless you move the dial exactly just so.

Perhaps we can make a visit to Lowe's so I can lust over some new ones.

We have a dishwasher but the kids sometimes thinks it is a short cut to put their dishes in without rinsing....that is when I decided they needed to become my dishwashers for awhile...now they always rinse!

I don't have a dishwasher and I really wish I did. In the house we were renting before we bought this one; we had a dishwasher and we just loved it. I WILL have a dishwasher in the next house! The kitchen is too small in this house for one.

I have one - a Maytag portable machine, and it DOES get the dishes sparkling clean!

It can be set to boost the water temp in the main wash and final rinse for extra-hot steamy water to destroy germs and bacteria. It has four cycles and it bone-dries the dishes very well! I've had it for seven years with no problem at all.

Maytag DID however, put out a recall on certain models of its machines (mine was one of them) for a defect that had surfaced as a potential fire hazard. The inner door was replaced, but the machine itself never suffered any type of failure.

I like it and it has done well by me!
