And I have just about had it with the idiots (look how polite I am by using THAT particular term - I could forget that I am a lady) who think they can come here and post a site to promote their site or their friends' site and we are supposed to click and run there for their satisfaction.

Well now it's time for Mama's satisfaction.

Don't think you are going to get away with lame posts for your site or your blog. If you cannot join our community and become an active - and I mean ACTIVE - member - then hit the road. If you are active enough - you can post your site or blog.

This thread is for the ACTIVE PARTICIPATING members to enjoy.

I don't care who you are, what you are trying to push - as a matter of fact - PUSH THIS!

Looking for cooking sites and blogs - use your search engine. You're on the blessed (%&$#@ - in Italian) computer - so push your own buttons and stop pushing mine. Go elsewhere and see who is going to put up with you.

Do what REAL site owners do - put your own money into promoting your crap and don't expect someone else to do it. Site owners pay a heluva lot out for their programs, servers, etc. and if you want to advertise your crap - then you come see Mama - and for a price - we can discuss this.

Don't like it - LEAVE.

We are a very happy cooking community - or should I say - FAMILY. We share, we give, we appreciate.

Move on morons - you won't last here.

Well you guys make me laugh! I just went to one of those sights just to see what all the hubba ba-loo is and one I went to check out was posted by that new fellow named AdamBomb, and it was just kind of boring and I did not even see a recipe listed there, gosh I must have missed it somehow! I just figured that I should at least give it a try, nothing to loose and well I found out there really was nothing to gian either Oh well...... I am until I found SP totally new to forums and I am still learning! I had no idea there were what you'd call bloggers, spammers ect. and so I amlearning alot of new stuff!

I've seen so many of these low-life idiots advertise their big, beautiful sites and blogs - several had 1 recipe, several had nothing at all - but they are working on it (how many months does it take to hunt and peck at a ceyboard for a recipe??????) and promises, promises...................................

jglass - It's not that - it's what is right.

Why should the owner of a site pay hard earned money to start up a site, put up with all the costs, headaches, server fees and problems and allow some low-life freeloader to advertise for nothing on the site?

You can bet that the spammer would not want or allow dozens of other spammers to take advantage of them!

Spammers are thieves - they steal for their own good - that's right - it's stealing! They paid nothing or very little and they want to make a profit off someone else. I don't trust spammers and I don't trust thieves. If they do this - how low would they stoop to do something worse?

I totally agree.
Spammers used to be easy to recognize. Now they are sneaky. Sometime I am to quick to give someone the benefit of the doubt and it usually bites me in the butt.

It's hard - you want to trust people - you know that you can be trusted - and it makes it difficult. You don't want to be rude but what can you do? They are like roaches lately - all over the net - they advertise anything on any site - they just don't care. and they are about as welcomed as roaches too.
