I enjoy Midwest Living, Southern Living and Canadian Living magazines, as well as Taste of Home and Home Cooking.
I used to enjoy Woman's Day, Family Circle, Good Hosekeeping, etc. but that was years ago. Now there are way too many advertisements and they have cut back on the recipes! Back in the "good old days" those mags were so filled with recipes and they were all good ones - and you just couldn't put the magazine down!! But I guess it's just like everything else - even cable TV now is overloaded with commercials and advertising. Thank goodness for DVD's!!! |

I love a magazine called Sunset. The magazine has several versions for the different parts of the North West and South West states. It has three basic sections; travel information, home design and decorating, and my favorite cooking. The cooking section usually has a theme that discusses a particular vegetable or fruit and then provides several recipes with that theme. The recipes are usually pretty easy to make and great taste.

Southern Living and the everyday foods one, definitely. The Easter dinner out of Everyday Foods was amazing. I used to subscribe to Cooking Light, but a lot of the times, the ingredients for the recipes were too hard for me to find, and that was when I was living in a major metropolitan area, forget about now when I'm dependent upon internet shopping, Walmart, and a limited farmer's market.
