Tonight we are having chicken cacciatori , and probably some noodles on the side or maybe rice.

Your chili sounds good, I've been itching to start making some again now that it's getting cooler

The same with my pot of Chili Nan. There is enough left for the chili dogs I have been craving for awhile now. I'll make them up tomorrow.

I made burgers and fries today. Right now I am making a batch of brownie biscotti and some chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. I am also baking cornbread to make dressing for Sunday dinner.

I ended up making brownie biscotti drizzled with milk chocolate and Jon's fav sugar cookies. It smells very good in here right now. Sunday dinner will be roasted chicken, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, mac and cheese and corn salad. Since I was sick last Sunday I figure I owe him a big dinner this Sunday. I have the cornbread in the oven now to make the dressing. I like to use half cornbread and half stale french bread I made from scratch to make dressing.

Friday was grocery-shopping night so I did my easy usual- bought a deli rottisserie hen and tossed some of the picked meat with a huge ol Ceasar Salad w/ parmesan cheese and crunchy garlicky croutons when I got home and got all the stuff put away. Tomorrow I'll pick the rest of the meat and will get a huge chicken and green chili omelet, and maybe a bit of chicken salad- enuf for a sammie or two- out of it.

Sunday I'm making a cranberry eggnog custard pie for my sister to sample. We're putting together plans for our family's Thanksgiving Day feast and she wants to sample the pie to see if she'd rather have that- or a cranberry crisp along w/ the other desserts.

Tonight we are having cassoulet with sausages. Seemed like a nice warm meal for our cold fall evening.
