Everyone should have a nice meatballo pan. I cringe whenever I see someone shaping a meatball and then just dropping it into the pot of sauce to cook. I like to either fry or bake my meatballs to get a nice crust on the exterior. Boiled meatballs taste like boiled meatballs.

OMG - to me those are RAW - and I don't care what anyone says! And there is no flavor to them.

When I make my wedding soup - I stll fry those baby beauties to cook through.

you put in what you are going to use - the appliances you are going to use - the utensils you are going to use - not someone else's ideas

I need a kitchen I can work in they way I want to - and set up my way - some of the "suggestions" I heard - were not for me - I know how I cook and that is how it should be for anyone who really cooks

I have a few friends that have very expensive kitchens with high tech everything - too bad they don't know how to turn it all on -

some kitchens need nothing more than vending machines
absolute right..i am agree with you..i like do the things just i like..

    Hi..!!
Every kitchen requires some basic items beyond the major appliances. First time cooks may not know where to begin in setting up a full kitchen. Wedding showers can cater to these essential items so that the bride-to-be can have what she needs on hand.

I think the thing that irks me the most about my current kitchen is the lack of adequate cabinet and counter space. We have a pantry in the basement that I store my non every day stuff but I would like to have them closer at hand.

I also like to collect kitchen gadgets, old cooking tools, cookie cutters and aprons. I use alot of them but really admire the way that they look and would like to display them more prominently in an old wall cabinet with French doors or something of the like instead of in drawers like they are now.

As far as appliances my only real essential at the moment is my Kitchen Aid mixer because I do alot of baking.
