I think with a little prep and organization, anyone can make a meal at home in the time that it takes to go to the make-it-yourself place, put it together, package for transport, pay the tab, and drive home. In a few hours once a week, I think I could probably put together several casseroles and quick meals to put in the freezer. I did it shortly before my son was born and it didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would.
