Default Made one of the best-ever down-home cold-weather desserts tonight...

    ...Warm Rice Pudding w/ Raisins.

Milk, sugar, egg, butter, salt, vanilla, a pinch of cinnamon- and even a few dried apricots chopped-up and tossed in. Absolutely comforting and heavenly!

Since these deep-freeze temps are likely to continue (minus-6 last night), Bread Pudding w/ Vanilla-Raisin Sauce is on my list for sometime next week...

I love rice pudding - especially warm - it's so cold that it's probably warmer in Siberia than it is here -

I to love rice pudding, or just rice as a hot cereal. I like rice most any way it is served. Rice and gravy is another way that is good. CF

I too like rice and gravy- or rice and marinara. I even like cold leftover rice w/ egg salad or tuna/chicken salad on top... or cold leftover rice w/ canned peaches.
