Default What is the best cake decorating supplies?

I want to start decorating cakes to sell for some extra money. I have a vintage kit with 6 tips, but I know I need more. Any tips?

I like Wilton supplies. My mom has decorated cakes professionally and that's all she uses.

Watch Hobby Lobby's sales because they often run sales on cake decorating supplies or have coupons for up to 50% off of Wilton products.

Some of my most used tips are:
* writing tips
* star tips
* ball tips
* leaf tips

Wilton puts out a good line - if you really shop around - you will find some that are just as good as Wilton but cheaper - but Wilton does seem to hold the market on it.

also check eBay and places like that. You can get them for a fraction of the cost. Also, Cake decorating ideas, cake tips, cake decorating articles, cake recipes, photos and more. CakeCentral.com runs some good specials sometimes for tips, colors, pans, etc.
