I bought mine for $35 bucks from King Arthur Flour's on-line store.
Bed Bath & Beyond and Linens & Things have them. But I've only seen them in kit form, in which you get the stone, some accessories, sometimes a peel. For some reason they don't sell the stones alone. And the ones in those kits are awfully thin. But you can go a cheaper route by buying unglazed tiles at the home improvement store. Line them up on a rack, and you're good to go. Another thing that works, albeit for smaller pizzas, are the drain plates that go with flowerpots. Depending on the size of the plate, and the size of the pie, you can use them either upside down or right side up. They available at least up to 16 inches in diameter. |
