Looks good and thanks - I see one of the local grocers had persimmons and would like to give this a try.

    Thanks,

Hi Merry Christmas to all of you. It is really getting cold out. The other day I made Chill-Mac good comfort food! Cookie

    Chili mac recipe:

    1 pound ground beef
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can rotel diced tomatoes
    1 diced green pepper
    1 small onion choped
1/2 pkg.chili seasoning mix with 1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp hot pepper flakes
    dash salt/pepper
    1 cup elbow macaroni, cooked
grated hot pepper cheese on top. Enjoy!

Back in the 50's & 60's that's what my mom called goulas, except she didn't put kidney beans that I remember. I'd eat a half of loaf of bread and butter with it - make goulas sandwiches. We never had hot stuff, either - it was strictly McCormick's Chili Powder.

I use McCormick's spices all the time. There is nothing like bread and butter so-good!
