Banana Cream Cheese Bread
BANANA CREAM CHEESE BREAD
8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 C. granulated sugar 1/4 C. butter or margarine 1 C. mashed bananas 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 eggs 2 1/4 C. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 C. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan; set aside. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and butter, blending well. Blend in bananas, vanilla extract and eggs. Whisk dry ingredients and add to banana mixture, mixing just until moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Enjoy!
