    Default Brownie In a Mug

When you are on the run and want a quick snack for yourself or to leave for the kids in your absence:

    Brownie in a Mug

4 tablespoons instant brownie mix (in a box)

Place in a ziplock baggie sealed (would fit perfect in one of those snack ziplocks) Place ziplock in a Mug lined with Tissue Paper and attach tag.

On tag: (instructions) Pour mix into mug add 2 Tbsp water & mix well. Microwave for 1 minute.

    Add ins: choose 1

    1 T. of mini M & M
    1 T. of Chopped Walnut
    1 T. Chopped Pecans
    1 T. Dried Chopped Cherries

BTW: I don't use the wax paper.... my kids pour in milk over the warm brownie and eat it like that.

    ONE BOWL BROWNIES:

    4 SQUARES BAKER'S UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE
1/4 CUP (1 1/2 STICKS) MARGARINE OR BUTTER
    2 CUPS SUGAR
    3 EGGS
    1 TEASPOON VANILLA
    1 CUP FLOUR
1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS (OPTIONAL) I USE WALNUTS

Heat oven 350 line a 13 X 9- inch w/ foil baking pan or glass dish (grease pan lightly)

Microwave chocolate & margarine in large micro-bowl on high for 2 min. or until margarine is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

Stir sugar into chocolate until well blended. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts until well blended. Spread into prepared pan.

BAKE: 30-35 min. cool in pan (do tooth-pic test) don't over-bake!
    Makes 24 fudgy brownies

NOTE: You can also melt chocolate and margarine in a heavy 3 quart saucepan on very low heat, stirring constantly on the stove. Cookie
