1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 can Hershey's syrup 1 c. + 1 tbsp. unsifted flour 1/2 c. nuts (opt.) Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, add chocolate syrup, then flour and nuts. Put in a greased 10"x15" rimmed cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Don't over bake. FROSTING: 1 1/2 c. sugar 5 tbsp. butter 6 tbsp. milk 1/2 c. chocolate chips FROSTING: Bring first 3 ingredients to a full rolling boil, stirring. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips. Beat until frosting holds shape but still thin. Spread frosting over cake while both are still warm, then let cool. |
