Loubear, I have read from the newspaper that to form bread bowl you need soufflé-type-baking dish. Turn it upside-down on baking sheet then lightly spray outside of dish with cooking spray. Place dough on base of dish and press down evenly over sides to form bowl. Just repeat this process for your desired number of bread bowls.
I don't know how to do this. I am just sharing to you what I have read. |

Thanks for sharing these tips on how to make a homemade bread bowl. I have never tried to make my own bread bowls but feel inspired to do so now. I do enjoy having French Onion Soup served in a Sourdough bread bowl. It just so happens that my hubby made some sourdough starter last weekend for pancakes and have been keeping it going all week. Perhaps I can convince him to use some of the sourdough starter to make two bread bowls for some homemade French Onion soup.
