    Default Cookie Recipe Needed

I need a cookie recipe for a cookie that I have seen before. I know this is going to sound stupid. They look like they have been rolled into balls and dropped, then a thumbprint put into them. A chocolate chip is then placed in the middle. I think it is a sugar cookie with the addition of chocolate chips on top. Am I right?

    Chocolate Kiss Thumbprints

    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup Butter flavor Crisco
    1/2 cup Sugar
    1 tablespoon Milk
    1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
    1 Single egg; separated
1 Square (1 ounce size) unsweetened chocolate
    1 cup Flour; all purpose
    1/4 teaspoon Salt
    3/4 cup Nuts; chopped
    30 Single chocolate kisses; unwrapped

    Directions:

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease baking sheet with Butter Flavor Crisco. Set aside.

Combine Butter Flavor Crisco, sugar, milk, vanilla and egg yolk. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add melted chocolate. Mix well.

Combine flour and salt. Add to chocolate mixture. Mix until well blended. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Beat egg white slightly with fork. Coat balls with egg white. Roll in chopped nuts. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Press thumb gently in center of each cookie.

Bake at 350 for 7 minutes. Remove from oven. Place chocolate kiss in each thumbprint. Return to oven for 1 more minute. Remove to cooling rack.

**I've had them without the melted chocolate in the cookie. You can also put a small bit of jam in the thumbprint instead of a kiss if you'd like.

Thank you so much, I couldn't find a recipe for them anywhere, but I think they are one of my favorite cookies.
