    Default dried cherries & wine

I have a great recipe for fudge, and would like to add cherries. I have experimented in the past and have come close. My new idea was to put the dried cherries in a sauce pan and cook them in some cherry wine to "rehydrate" them. Is this feasable or am I wasting time and ingredients?

I don't know what recipe you are using - but dried cherries go well in fudge - if you want to try to rehydrate them in wine - try it - just drain well and make sure they are cool - not hot.

I've used dried cherries in a fudge recipe made with white chocolate and cream cheese.
