Hi,

I am in the middle of trying to make butternut squash in mini tarts. The tarts were bought ready. It says on the package to bake it first but in the recipe it says to fill the tarts and then bake. I am wondering if the tarts are meant to be baked first only for finished ingredients? Which way should I go?

My mom always said never to try a new recipe when you are having guests and I should have listened to her :-)!

apparently the recipe called for unbaked pie shells - there should be no problem
