this is difficult - I don't know what batter you use - how hot your griddle/skillet is - if you are using oil or spray - how thick your batter is - etc.

    what batter are you using?

I'm using bisquick for the mix. And I make my pancake for atleast 1/3 inch thickness and I use oil. Does my procedure in putting the chocolate chips is right?

I sprinkle mine on the batter just when they begin to bubble - some incorporate the chips in the batter before placing on the griddle. I use oil and I use a hot griddle.

Hmm, that sounds good. I will try doing how you do it and see if it will taste different with how I do it.

This isn't for the double chocolate, just
    Chocolate Krinkle Cookies

    1/2 cup oil
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup powdered sugar

Melt chocolate and oil in saucepan. Remove from heat. Add sugar and stir dissolving the sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
In mixing bowl add dry ingredients and mix them well.
Now add the wet ingredients with the dry. Chill for several hours, then drop by teaspoon of dough into the powered sugar and roll into 1" balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet
    10-12 minutes at 350.
