mama- I never flew until I was 24. My first flight ever was on a wide-bodied DC-9 to Anchorage. After that I flew lots... worked a 4-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation shcedule flying in and out of various northern locales, then back to Anchorage- and often times further on back to Illinois and Portland, OR. Every 6 week cycle I was in the air at least twice- usually for lengthy distances, and I did this for almost 10 years. Some of the remote site camps I worked at were small fly-in only locales in the middle of the Interior, on wild rivers, in deep woods. Many times I flew on TINY single-engine beavers and twin-engine otters that only 2-4 passengers could fit in! And some of those flights were CRAZY! Many a time I coulda used you sitting beside me holding my hand- or at least holding my barf-bag! Hee-Hee!
