    Default Hello Everyone

My name is Liz. I've been in the restaurant business in one way or another for 20+ years. I am currently a Restaurant Trainer and Food Safety Instructor. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your "family"

Yes, I am a ServSafe instructor. Usually people say it is the most boring class ever! Right now I am training managers for a company that has some Sonic and Bojangles'. restaurants. The exciting world of fast food. My ServSafe classes are opened to anyone who wants to attend who is in the restaurant business.

Boy, makes me think that a discussion of the class should be a part of the hiring interview. would question those who find it boring?
the way it breaks down the pathogens, bacterias and other yuckies, make them easier to deal with.
I have been in several venues of food and beverage for forty years and still learning.

When I teach the class I have only 1 day to complete the whole book. The students get the book and practice sheets, practice tests etc. 3 weeks before the class. It is a 7hour review. Really not enough to do it justice. It can get tedious. It is not so much boring as just a really long day.
