Spice Place is a fantastic, close-knit foodie site w/ a great "family" of members who are warm and knowledgable.

We're a diverse group from all regions and all backgrounds. I was raised in a tiny Illinois farm-town of 900. Lived in Seatle & Portland and all over Alaska for years- somtimes in TINY native villages. Now I'm back near where I was raised in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois- home of Illinois State University.
