Default Hi all!

Hi everyone. I actually signed up last week but I realized I haven't made the quasi-obligatory thread for my introductions. (Would like to get some warm welcomes )

When it comes to cooking, I see myself as a sort of Jack of all Trades (Master of none). I like experimenting and I am also on the quest for high-impact but low-effort recipes (though I do enjoy throwing a feast once in a while).

I hope the forums could help me hone my "craft", and perhaps meet a few kindred spirits along the way.

Cheers.

Welcome to the forum Tinker!

We love to cook and it's one of the essentials of life, so, hey, why not make it better. We'll pass along any ideas, and tips we have.

Cooking is an interesting art. It takes a while to learn the craft, and then things sorta just fall together. I'm not talking french cooking or anything fancy. But for the day to day cooking, it's amazing how one can go from no knowledge to feeling comfortable to being a skilled cook.

Thanks all!

It's nice to be part of a growing community.

I wonder if you'll post a recipe for those cookies, Alice.

I think Alice's cookies are known as trouble:
I Love You Alice B Toklas or not depending on your perspective. But if someone named Alice offers a brownie, think twice (or maybe not).
