Some Jamaican Spice would be sooo!! nice
Does anybody know where I can find some Jamaican Spice? I've just had the feel for some Jerk chicken, and I jus gotta have it. Even if they only sell jerk sauce, or evn jus a few Maggi packets i'd really appreciate it; oh and btw im in colorado just in case you were wondering. Show me some love forum help me out please.

I actually order from Penzeys Spices Home Page. they have a chicken and a pork jerk seasoning that I feel are great.

Make your own -
* 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
* 2 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
* 2 teaspoons ground allspice
* 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
1. In a small bowl, stir together the dried onion, thyme, allspice, ground black pepper, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt. Coat meat lightly with oil, then rub seasoning onto meat.

Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
* 2 tablespoons onion powder
* 1 tablespoons sugar
* 1 tablespoon salt
* 1 tablespoon ground thyme
* 1 1/2 teaspoons ground all-spice
* 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
* 3/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
* Stir together ingredients.
* Store in air tight container at room temp
* Rub seasoning on meats or poultry before grilling or roasting.

* 2 teaspoons ground thyme
* 1 teaspoon dried parsley
* 1 teaspoon ground allspice
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1 tablespoon garlic powder
* 2 teaspoons salt
* 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 2 teaspoons sugar
* 2 teaspoons dried chives
1. 1 Mix together all the ingredients.
2. 2 Store leftovers in a tightly closed glass jar.
3. 3 It will keep its strength for over a month.
4. 4 1- 1 1/2 tablespoon of seasoning for each pound of meat.
