    Default Hey y'all!

I'm Mama and I love to cook! I'm not a trained cook, just a down home cook that learned how to cook from my Mama who learned from her Mama. My daddy was a cook in the Navy during WWII and I learned a lot from him too. I love to cook traditional recipes and I also like to "play" with my food and see what I can create.

I look forward to getting to know everyone as well as learning from and sharing what I've learned over the years with y'all!

    Warm Dishes,
    Mama

I was just planning my Sunday Supper menu. I was thinking fried chicken, cornbread, fried green tomatoes, mashed taters & deviled eggs sounds really good. Cooking southern food you would probably appreciate the menu.

That's a wonderful dinner idea....in fact....I made fried chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, sliced tomatoes from the garden and biscuits for supper last night.
