    Default What's for dinner?

Here is a fun one that everyone always enjoys. What are you making for dinner? My Mother is coming today. She also has a gluten allergy but doesn't cook for herself so there are a lot of good things that she is missing out on. Tonight I'm making gluten free lasagna, salad with rosemary vinaigrette and green tomato pie with streusel topping. My mother is more adventurous than the rest of my family with her food so I hope she will be able to enjoy some comfort foods that she has missed.

Tonight at home was a Spanish Omelet.

My midnight meal here at work will be a scoop of egg salad on fresh spinach leaves. (can you tell I have EGGS to get rid of? Ha!)

The past few days I have made minestrone soup, brioche bread, herb roasted chicken, fried green tomatoes, brown sugar and cinnamon roasted butternut squash, coleslaw & cornbread. Tonight I am going to make our favorite baked pasta dish and some roasted garlic french bread.

Tonight's supper was inspired by the cool dreary weather and my craving for something sweet: French Toast w/ Butter & Maple Syrup, Bacon, Patty Sausage, Pair of Over-Hard Eggs, OJ and Milk. YUMMY!

Soooo glad you asked!!! Well today we went shopping while we shopped I had a nice Baguette Loaf rising, upon arriving home I baked the loaf and threw together all the ingredients for homemade Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, I then sliced the hot loaf as soon as it came out of the oven and threw my swiss cheese peppers/onions/ and steak strips in to the hot loaf! My oh my was that so tasty!

Tonight we are having another one of our Shrimp Pot Pies!!!

We got the VERY Best bargains at the grocery store today on meat, we were so lucky to be like some of the 1st shoppers of the day. We stocked up and bought tons of the sale pkg's up!!!

My Mom has been in town. She is also gluten free but doesn't do any gluten free baking so I made gluten free lasagna, green tomato pie and today breakfast enchiladas. We took her out to eat two nights also to some places that are safe for us to eat. She lives in a very small town in southern Ohio and there isn't a lot of variety if you have to eat gluten free so it's a treat for her to come here. The next time she comes I'm going to make gluten free chocolate cupcakes.
