Default Quick Hot Dogs and Potatoes

I was really whipped when I got home from work last night and wanted something quick, easy and filling so this is what I threw together. It tasted great and I actually ate the entire thing all by myself. Really, really good!

    6 hot dogs
6 tablespoons tomato sauce with herbs
4 servings mashed potatoes (I picked up some of those already made ones)
1 1/2 cups grated or shredded cheese

Split each hot dog lengthwise and arrange them in a backing dish. Spoon 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce into each pocket. Spoon the mashed potatoes between the hot dogs in the baking dish and top with the grated cheese. Bake at 375F for 25 minutes. Serve with fruit and a green salad for a full meal. Great!

That is much better than I would of done. Me, I would grab a can of Vienna sausage, a chunk of cheese and some Ritz crackers. CF
