I Love this one: - pinklife
Ingredients: • 3 eggs • 1 cup Karo light-colored corn syrup • 2/3 cup sugar • 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted • 1/4 tsp. salt • 1 cup chopped almonds • 1 9-inch pie crust • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter, melted Method: Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs slightly, then add corn syrup, sugar, margarine, and salt; mix well. Reserve 1/2 cup mixture; set aside. Stir in almonds to remaining mixture; pour into pie crust. Combine reserved mixture and peanut butter; carefully pour over almond filling. Place pie on cookie sheet. Bake 50 to 55 minutes, or until filling is set about 3 inches from the edge. Cool on wire rack. |
