1.5 cups unsweetened applesauce, divided
1 Tbs. Butter 1 Cup Stove Top Cornbread Stuffing Mix 6 Pork Chops-Either on the bone or boneless works 1. Heat oven to 350. In saucepan, boil 1/2 cup water, 1/3 cup applesauce and butter to a boil. Stir in stuffing mix, remove from heat, cover and allow to sit for 5 minutes. 2. Slice side of porkchop to make a pocket. Fill each with stuffing mix. 3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and spray with cooking spray. Brown each side of chops. 4. Place remaining 1 cup of applesauce in oven-proof baking dish and lay porkchops on top. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or till cooked through. |
