Martha Stewart and Kmart are having a very nasty divorce.

Now that Sears owns Kmart, they want to move their own lines into the stores. They have also expressed dissatisfaction with the MS quality.

For her part, MS has new contracts with Home Depot and Macy's. Watch to see if she doesn't step up the quality, since she should be able to reach a higher price point at Macy's than at Kmart.

I don't think you'll get satisfaction from either party. Kmart (Sears) has all of her products on clearance and final sale. Martha Stewart is blaming Sears for the poor quality over the last couple years. (Although I don't know how it can be Sears fault if MS Living is making the stuff).

I should have know better than to even buy Martha Stewart but I was lured by the sale tag. Junk is junk no matter what the price. The lady who lives across the street is using that pot for a flower pot lol. She got it off the curb when I threw it out.

I bought a 5 qt and 2 1/2 quart Martha Stewart enameled cast iron pots a couple of years ago and I am not happy with it. It started to chip and the enamel is stained.
I should have saved my pennies and bought a Le Creuset instead.

Of course since they were on clearance I cannot return it. Even on sale it was still $31! Originally it was like $75...for useless garbage. I am very careful with my cookware. I have a Target 5 quart coated dutch oven that is about 5 years old and is still in fine shape. I wonder when the little 3 1/2 quart pot will come apart?

Her items for higher end stores may be better quality but stay away from the Kmart stuff!
I lost the $31 I paid for the pot plus an entire pot of Italian wedding soup I was making to send to my sick nieces. I am so angry.
I've heard this before. I have the big oval one we got at Macy's, on sale. I won't put it on a burner but use it for oven use. One of these days will spend the bucks and get a La Cruset (sic). Might as well have the best.
