Default Lettuce with Strawberry Dressing

Ingredients:
200 gms. assorted lettuce greens
1 cup fresh strawberries, trimmed & sliced into halves
1 (200 pkg.) honeycured bacon, chopped & fried
½ cup almond slices, toasted
Dressing:
½ cup corn oil
½ cup olive oil
½ cup red wine
vinegar
½ cup maple syrup
½ cup strawberry puree

Directions:

* Wash lettuce and pat dry.

* Cut into serving pieces. Set aside.

* For the dressing:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until well blended. Toss salad greens in dressing. Place in a serving plate and top with strawberries and fried bacon bits. Sprinkle with toasted almonds. Makes 6 to 8 servings

Wow, Ive never thought to mix lettuce, strawberries and bacon together. It sounds like a good combination though, Im definately going to have to try that one!
