Default Black/White Bean Salad

Taken from A Series of Unfortunate Events: The End by Lemony Snicket (it was mentioned in the book).

Ingredients:
1 can of black or white beans
3 cherry tomatoes
Basil (fresh or dried)
Lime juice
Olive Oil
Cayenne Pepper

Pour the beans into a bowl (if you want to warm it up a little, boil it in a pan for about 3 or 4 minutes). Cut the cherry tomatoes into slices and add them. Spinkle the basil in, and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a dash of lime juice. Add a little bit of cayenne pepper, and stir.

Thanks for the recipe Acquired Taste! I imagine it would have a nice different taste depending on the type beans you'd use. Do you make it often? And which is your favorite the white or black beans?
