    Default Old-Fashioned Waldorf Salad

    Ingredients:

    4 C unpeeled, cored and chopped apples
    1/2 C chopped celery
    1/2 C chopped walnuts
    1/2 C raisins
    1/2 C halved, seedless red grapes
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 C mayonnaise
    1/2 C whipping cream, partially whipped


    Directions:

    Mix apples, celery, walnuts, raisins and grapes together. Add lemon juice, mayonnaise and cream. Chill before serving. Absolutely the best!

    Just wondering, if I cut that recipe in half, would it be just as good. I am thinking that it would. CF

    Hi CF - Of course it would! I was thinking of the one I made recently for a backyard barbeque and didn't think to cut the recipe down to normal size before I posted. I'll be more careful in future. Katie
