Taco Meat
Salad Makings
Dressing
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 8 ounce can kidney beans
- Small can of pitted olives
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 package Doritos
Salad Makings
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 cups chopped tomatoes
Dressing
- Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 large avocado, peeled, and mashed
- Grated Monterey Jack Cheese
- Make the taco meat by browning the meat and onion in a non-stick skillet. Add the kidney beans, taco seasoning, and olives. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring to cook evenly.
- While the taco meat is cooking, shred the lettuce, and dice the tomatoes.
- Also prepare the salad dressing by mixing the package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing with the mayonnaise, buttermilk, and mashed avocado.
- To make the Taco Salad:
Place Doritos on a plate. Top with the taco seasoned meat. Then top with the Monterey Jack cheese. Top with lettuce, and tomatoes, and the pour some of the dressing over top.
