Default Light Marinara Sauce

1 cup tomato, finely chopped
16 ounce can tomato paste
1/4 cup finely diced onion
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
1/2 tsp basil leaves

Put the tomato paste and chopped tomato in a blender. Blend until chopped up good. Add the sauce and the remaining ingredients to a non-stick saucepan. Heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Makes about 2 1/3 cups of Marinar Sauce.
