Hi Mama,
I am going to make a point of making this recipe. I love recipes that incorporate olives, maybe that is one reason I really liked some of my Cuban, and Greek dishes. Thanks for sharing, Cathy P.S. Love capers too, m-m-m-mmm. Last edited by Cook Chatty Cathy; 03-03-2008 at 03:08 PM. Reason: added a p.s. |

Oh Lizgirl The Ones I Have Bought Throughout The Years (pickeled In Jars) Have Never Had Seeds! Are You Maybe Referring To Fresh? Look For Them In Your Grocery Store By The Cooking Wines And Vinegars, They Come In A Little Tapered Jar, And Are A Delicious Compliment To Many Dishes. Lots Of Gourmet Recipes Call For Them, And You Can Take A Non-gourmet Dish And "kick It Up A Notch" By Adding Capers! Like For Instance Take A Box Of Creamy Parmesan Fetuccini Add A Little More White Sauce, Throw In 2 Tbsp. Of White Wine, A Dash Of Greek Seasoning, Serve With Grilled Slices Of Chicken Breast And A Tsp. Or So Of Capers Sprinkeled Over The Top. Yummy!!!! A Gourmet Meal That Started With A Box. I Do Not Like Boxed Stuff And Start From Scratch, But That's Just An Easy Quick Example.

I will check different stores then. The ones I have bought are pickled in little jars and have seeds in them. They taste really good but I don't know what they want you to do with them. Obviously there are brands without seeds! I am on the prowl now, thank you!
