1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1tsp peppermint extract 9 cups powdered sugar 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 tblsp shortening Beat cream cheese and peppermint extract until smooth. Gradually add powereded sugar, beating well. (May need to mix with hands if too thick for electric mixer) Shape into 1" balls. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Flatten into patties with the bottom of a glass. Cover and refirgerate one hour. In microwave, melt chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Cool slightly, dip patties in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper until firm. Store in frig and serve cold. |
