    Default Turkey Stuffing

I haven't made this, but, I knew the person who did make it and they were a good cook:

    Turkey Stuffing:

    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup shredded carrots
    12 cups dry bread crumbs
    1 T. poultry seasoning
    1 heaping tsp. sage
    5 eggs. beten

Saute onion and celery (do not brown). Add to the bread crumbs & remaining ingredients. Moisten with the broth. This makes enough for a 12 to 14 lb. turkey. The shredded carrots add color and keep the dressing moist.

I say go for it then! It's always fun to try new recipes...then let us know how it went. :-) I love stuffing.

Lately I have been adding wild rice to my stuffing.. I overcook it until it blows up (like popcorn) and it really compliments just about any bread based stuffing..

Tried Tyler Florence's fig stuffing this year. It's a real winner; although his fig glaze is kind of a joke.

You can find them both by doing a search over at the food network webpage.
