Default Marinated Tuna for Salads and Sandwiches

Marinated Tuna for Salads and Sandwiches

12 ounces canned tuna, drained (tuna in water)
    2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil (or much less!!!)
    1 small red onion, chopped
    kosher salt
    cracked pepper

    Mix all ingredients together.
Marinate as long as possible in the fridge preferably overnight.
Enjoy as part of a tuna nicoise salad or on wholemeal rolls with avocado, tomatoes and salad.

How about canned tuna in oil and not draining it, instead of draining and adding oil back in?

I think this is meant for the tuna you buy in water. It is usually alot cheaper than the tuna in olive oil.
