    Default Meat Loaf Wellington

    Ingredients:

    1 can Golden Mushroom Soup
    2 Lb lean ground beef
    1/2 C dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 small onion, chopped
    Minced garlic to taste - 1 or 2 small cloves
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 C ketchup
    Frozen Filo dough - thawed
    1/3 C sour cream

    Directions:

    Mix 1/2 C mushroom soup with all ingredients except filo dough. Form loaf on shallow baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 65 minutes. Drain off fat. Remove loaf from pan to wooden cutting board and carefully wrap with Filo dough, cutting off excess to use to form pretty flowers, etc. on top of loaf.

    Serve hot with Yorkshire pudding - (see recipe below)
    Make a brown gravey with meatloaf drippings to serve with Yorkshire pudding. Use other 1/2 can of mushroom soup in gravey.

    Ingredients:

    2 large eggs
    1 C milk
    1 C flour
    1/2 tsp salt



    Directions:

    Place all ingredients in blender and blend until creamy and fully mixed. Pour mixture into well greased 2 quart baking dish and bake in preheated oven set at 425 degrees for 23 to 25 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
