Famous 7 Layer Salad

Directions:
Arrange 1 layer of each of the following in this order in clear glass dish:
1. Chopped lettuce, spinach or kale
2. Chopped onions
3. Chopped Celery
4. Chopped green/red (sweet) peppers
5. Chopped cucumbers
6. 1 pkg. frozen peas (partly thawed)
7. Spread mayonaise, mixed with 3/4 C sour cream on top of peas. This creamy layer should be about 1/2 inch thick...at least!
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bacon bits.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

This is not only delicious, it's really pretty, too.
