A friend of mine gave me this recipe. I haven't tried it yet but will. As I am an egg lover. I think it would make a great sauce for other dishes. For the sauce I would chop in the food processor. CF

[h=1]Creamed Hard Boiled Eggs[/h]Ingredients 6 hard-boiled eggs
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt pepper, to taste rosemary, to taste thyme

Instructions Peel eggs and slice into 1/4 inch thick rings.
Melt butter in a skillet.
Add milk, gradually stir in flour.
Stir and cook until the gravy begins to thicken (5 minutes). Add eggs. Season with salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme.(to taste) Serve on hot fresh biscuits.

This a new one on me. Sounds like if you were going to finish it in a food processor you could just cut up the eggs any way you wanted. Let us know how it turns out since I might try it on the biscuit recipe I've been working on.

JP, the food processor was just my idea for maybe some other uses. I am sure the sliced was so that it would look better when served over biscuits. I am sure it would taste the same either way. I have not tried it yet. CF:)

We were getting long on eggs last week so the mrs made creamed eggs for Sunday breakfast and they were a hit. I don't know why we don't do that more often?
