Default Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and Cheese

5 c. cooked macaroni (approx 4 cups uncooked)
5 T. butter
2 eggs
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
3 c. milk
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook the macaroni until done - do not overcook; drain. Place macaroni, butter, salt, pepper, milk, mozzarella cheese, and 3 c. cheddar cheese in casserole dish. Mix
eggs in a bowl first and then stir into mixture. Cover everything with aluminum foil and
cook for 45 minutes at 350* F. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake additional 15 minutes, uncovered.

i recently tried the America's Choice mac n cheese.
It was pathetic. Does this taste any different?
I am too scared to try this again.

If America's Choice is a "boxed" mac and cheese - then there is a definite difference! I stay far away from those box mixes - and prefer to make my own. For a very simple way to make mac and cheese and not to scare you away - after draining your macaroni, add Cheez Wiz or cubed Velveeta cheese (add a couple pats of butter and just a bit of milk) and stir until the cheese is melted.
