I can't believe you didn't have one before this. An instant-read with remote probe is such a useful (some would say essential) part of your kitchen gear.
One suggestion: Remove the clip and keep it in your junk drawer. It is rarely needed, in my experience, and just gets in the way as it counterbalances the probe, and causes it to tear loose. Only time the clip works is if you're measuring liquids in a pot, or some such. And how often do you do that? Only time I need to do that is when making yogurt, and I have a separate thermometer for that. In two years I have yet to use the clip for anything. |
