    Question Steam Water Bath Canners

Just saw an ad for a steam canner which uses 3 pints of water instead of gallons of water to cover jars. Has anyone used one of these - are they worth the time and money?

Use at your own risk. Not approved or recommended by the USDA Food Scientists. You also will not find any recipes with the necessary processing times, which appears to be different from the standard Boiling Water Canner.

    Default Steam Canners

Thanks so much - I'll stick with my standard Water Bath Canner until and IF the others become reliable.
