Any help or ideas would be wonderful. This product come from Central Market store in Dallas Texas. And the cost is $11.98 pound. 175 mile trip for me. Here is a photo of the garlic. Most deep fried garlic recipes call for garlic cloves to be (without skins) placed in a pot of cold water, brought to a boil and boiled for one minute - drain and repeat the process - for a total of 3 times, drain and pat dry - cool completely.

Some will dredge in flour and salt, pepper, parsley - some will use bisquick, egg and beer making a batter and then deep fry in hot oil for just a bit - drain well.

    Oil must be 375* F.

Mama, I tried the blanching but maybe didn't do it enough. These that I have, have no breading on them at all. Kinda like a potato chip but airy and crisp. I will be blanching. thanks CF

Let me know how they turn out. And I wish I had a Central Market near me so I could figure these out!

Mama, I tried to find out something about the co. that makes them. The store buys them in bulk and does there own packaging. They are packed in like a berry pint clam shell container. I do think they might come from some Asian country. CF

Should it be dried naturally before marinating it with Dextrin and sea salt, then deep fried?
I will it if it will work.
