6 slices bacon
3/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 2 tablespoons flour 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1 (16 ounce) can peeled tomatoes 1 can french-cut green beans Cook bacon until crisp; remove from pan. Add onion and green pepper to 3 tablespoons drippings - cook until tender. Blend in flour, sugar, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt and mustard. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add beans. Heat - top with bacon. |
